Elizabeth Barrie
AIA, DBIA, LEED A.P. BD+C
Principal

With over 25 years experience in design and construction management and a diverse background in commercial construction, Elizabeth brings leadership and oversight to the team and will be actively engaged in the projects.  Committed to on-time delivery with an emphasis on cost control and zero defects.

Shawn Lantz

Principal

Shawn's focus is dedicated primarily to technical projects that require an increased level of attention to detail. Understanding that communication and planning are key factors to successful projects for all involved, Shawn is the catalyst to providing a clear and organized project plan that our team will deliver.

Waylon Helgeson
Project Manager

Waylon’s expertise is in identifying and coordinating the tasks required to ensure a successful project in the pre-construction as well as construction phase. He has extensive understanding and experience as an owner’s representative, estimator, project engineer, and project manager of OSHPD, DSA, commercial, and multi-family projects. He also assists with conceptual, budgetary, and competitive estimating.

Lowell Woodbury

Project Geologist, Project Manager

A strong leader with the experience, expertise and team oriented approach required to develop projects successfully from the programming to the operations stage of a new facility. Lowell brings a unique combination of practical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail to every project.

Devin Lee

Project Engineer

Devin brings a unique talent to our team through the use of the Barrie Company drone he is able to not only perform regular PE duties, but deploy the drone for aerial data collection, mapping, thermal imaging for 3D modeling, elevation mapping, and cinematography. Clients include SDSU, Rady Children's and Palomar College.

Tony Clark
Project Manager

Tony excels in contract management, change management, quality management, risk assessment, real estate, budgeting, and customer relationship management. His diverse portfolio includes successful projects such as upscale apartment towers, retail mall renovations, and K-12 school developments.

Richard Wasilewski
LEED AP BD+C
Project Manager

Richard’s project management experience includes working with various federal agencies (NAVFAC, USACE, Air Force, FAA), San Diego Unified School District, healthcare facilities, property management firms, consulting engineers, and building owners to provide evaluations, recommendations, and consultation for their facilities.

Rudy Arias

Project Manager

Rudy has extensive experience working in higher education and brings a vast amount of knowledge in construction and administrative methodologies. Overseeing day-to-day operations, Rudy ensures the schedule and budget stays on track by assisting in scheduling, constructability, and bid review. Rudy specializes in the evaluation and installation of advanced building technology and helps ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and proper manner.

Ronald Romero
PMP
Project Manager/Estimator

Ronald brings a variety of experience to his role including a background in project management and estimating. As a Project Manager, Ronald oversees all budgetary issues, monitors site specific progress, tracks the schedule, and is responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients and partners.

Carl Borders

Preconstruction Manager

Carl provides oversight and support of our preconstruction efforts. With a background in Architecture and proven experience in design management, he is adept at understanding and value engineering building systems to drive teams to design to budget. Understanding the importance of communication, he is able to be the catalyst of designing the solution(s), estimating the costs and planning the implementation of projects in order to meet or exceed the customers’ requirements.

Jason Plitz

Project Manager

Jason specializes in preconstruction services, estimating, constructability reviews, start to finish bid coordination and has experience as a field superintendent, project manager and a General Contractor. His skills include advanced tactics for communication, critical path understanding and planning, pull planning implementation, finance management and logistics. His experience covers K12, higher education, military, corrections and private projects.

Mallory Boyd

Assistant Project Manager

With a background in architectural design Mallory is able to work collaboratively with the team during all phases of design and into construction administration. Utilizing her experience in Higher Education, K-12, and Public Housing Mallory brings an understanding of DSA and the processes and procedures needed to complete a project on time and within the budget.
