At Barrie + CO, we believe in building more than structures-we believe in building futures. The Barrie + CO Scholarships were created to support and empower the next generation of leaders in construction, design, engineering and community development. Whether you are pursuing higher education, vocational training, or a career pathway in the built environment, this scholarship is designed to help you take the next step.
These scholarships are offered in proud collaboration with the Far To Go Foundation, whose mission aligns with ours in creating opportunities, advancing education, and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential. Together, we are committed to investing in tomorrow’s leaders.
SCHOLARSHIP CATEGORIES
We are proud to offer four distinct scholarships each year, each valued at $2,000:
Forge Ahead Trades Scholarship
For individuals pursuing training in the skilled trades (such as welding, electrical, carpentry, machining, or related fields).
Build the Future High School Senior Scholarship
For graduating seniors who plan to study construction management, engineering, or architecture.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
We welcome applications from students and emerging professionals who demonstrate:
A commitment to learning and personal growth
Interest in construction, engineering, project management, design, or related fields
Dedication to making a positive impact in their community

HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the online application form (link will be available on this page when applications open).
- Provide one letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or supervisor.
AWARD NOTIFICATION
Recipients will be notified in December, and award details will be shared both individually and on our website.
